Construction projects are often looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint and using Towens locally produced and recycled aggregates, rather than quarried, is one way to achieve this.

Sand, aggregates and fill materials are produced at our site in Westonzoyland, they are available for delivery across the South West of England or you may come and collect as required.

Our sophisticated facility separates sands and stones from our specifically sourced feedstock to produce a range of products which are compliant with our Towens WRAP Quality Protocol.

Any potential contaminants in the feedstock are removed during our processes which include attrition cells to remove oils, crushing, sieving, purification and pressing.

We perform regular sampling for physicality, constituents and composition. Our products comply with all the relevant specifications.
